Video: Ozarks: "Pyramids of Love"

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Tue, May 15, 2012 at 1:27 PM

We've been waiting for the forthcoming Ozarks record for as long as we've known about it; it's a glowing, hazy, goofy pop record with a look backward to the baroque pop of the late '60s and the turtlenecked, smooth sounds of the early '70s. Ozarks will be out soon; Robbie Augsperger (who's responsible for that Wolf Choir thing at the Hollywood, as well as the finest Spirit Mountain Casino ads that Photoshop can buy) recorded the 15-track album with Eric Lee, who also lent his hand to the video above.

"Pyramids of Love" appeared on a split 7-inch last year, and it will also be on Ozarks, which comes out very, very soon—we'll let you know exactly when, but in the meantime, mosey on over to Bandcamp or Soundcloud to hear some more tracks from the record.
