Video: Blouse in Room 205 - "Ghost Dream"

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Wed, Jun 6, 2012 at 11:19 AM

Here's the third video from Blouse's session at Room 205. We posted the first (for "They Always Fly Away") here, and you can watch the second (for "Time Travel") here.

With this final video for "Ghost Dream," Blouse have wrapped up a very good session that offers a look at a punchier, much more immediate aspect of the band, whose debut album often concealed the material under intriguing but gauzy layers. This video also boasts some tripped-out vintage kaleidoscope video effects, which go very well with the fever-heat/icy-cool dynamic Blouse works within. The audio for all three tracks is also over on Soundcloud, too. Meanwhile, Blouse are next scheduled to play a hometown show at Planned Parenthood's Fourth Annual Pink Party fundraiser. That goes down at Holocene (1001 SE Morrison) on Thursday, June 28.
