Video Video: The Golden Bears - "We"

If I'm not mistaken, this is the very first video for the Golden Bears, the Portland duo of Seth Lorinczi and Julianna Bright—although now there is a third bear as well. The video, directed by Melody Owen, takes a single concept and executes it simply, resulting in a striking visual accompaniment to the very catchy "We," one of the tracks on the Bears' excellent Write It Like You Find It album from earlier this year. Shot here in town at the North Coast Seed Company Building, it will make fans of elevators and split screens very happy.
The Golden Bears recently wrapped up a weeklong residency at Al's Den; Lorinczi is hitting the road next month as part of the Corin Tucker Band, in support of their upcoming Kill My Blues album.
