[UPDATE: This contest is closed and the winner has been notified.]

David Byrne and St. Vincent are making music together! That's not a euphemism; they are literally playing music together at the same time and in the same room. The name of their new project is—brace yourself—David Byrne & St. Vincent, and they've got a record coming out on September 11 called Love This Giant (listen to tracks from it here and here). But there's more! The aptly named David Byrne & St. Vincent are coming to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Thursday, October 18 for a show that'll pair their talents together; anyone who's seen either David Byrne or Annie Clark on their own know that seeing the two together should be unmissable.

We're gonna make sure one lucky winner doesn't miss it. All you have to do to win a pair of tickets is send an email to this address. Put "David Byrne & St. Vincent" in the subject line and include your first and last name in the email. We'll select a winner at random and set them up with two tickets to the show. (The seats are in the orchestra, off to the side, in row P. Not too shabby!) Please only enter if you are able to stop by the downtown Mercury office during business hours to pick up your tickets.

This contest will close at noon on Monday Tuesday (Happy Labor Day!). Good luck!
