The New Dolorean Song That's Been All on the TV

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Fri, Oct 19, 2012 at 11:58 AM

Here's the studio recording of Dolorean's "What Could You Do?" which was on this week's Grey's Anatomy and is available on iTunes. I posted this song back in June when main Dolore-man Al James performed it in Loyly song in a truly breathtaking performance (sung in a higher key, as well). The song was written (per the Oregonian) after James had some champagne one New Year's Eve. Dolorean's been performing it at their Laurelthirst Public House residency this month—they're playing 6-8 pm every Wednesday in October for free. The show I caught saw them playing a quieter, more acoustic set first, then a second plugged-in set with Crazy Horse style jams. Go see 'em there, for free (Oct 24 and 31); Dolorean are as good as it gets.
