This is video of Swedish band Goat playing at 2013's Glastonbury Festival. As you can see, the group performs in masks and costumes, and they refer to their performances as "rituals." Whether it's performance art or just a bunch of hippies in masks, Goat's live show has earned quite a reputation. If you want to get freaky with this psychedelic world-beat collective, they're playing the Wonder Ballroom this Wednesday eve, April 16. We'll have a bit more about the mysterious Goat in this week's issue.
But before then, we're giving away two pairs of tickets to the show! This will be a super quickie, so in order to win, you'll need to be one of the first two to email contest at portlandmercury dot com with "Get my Goat!" in the subject line. Please include your first and last name in the email. We'll close this as soon as we get two winners, both of whom will be able to check out Wednesday's show, with a guest, for free. Act now!
